Why is everyone so interested in PageRank? Traffic is most important and PageRank doesn't guarantee traffic or high search engine rank!

You obviously didn't read the link I gave you in the other thread. Google PageRank has been widely abused and Google now uses over 100 methods to rank sites, PageRank being just 1 of a 100! It's constantly becoming less and less important.

PageRank does not reflect actual rankings in search engines!

You are very right pr is nothing in real terms
as i have a site thats a pr1 and it gets lots of traffic and then again i use to have a pr 5 which i sold for a very nice sum ((but it got very litle traffic))because of the pr and the pr only some webmasters right or wrong will allways look at pr as it can used to sell links on and the higher the pr the high the price they can charge.
eg the pr0 a link is worth 0$
a pr 3 is about 9.00$

Thats how it is and untill pr does not exist then this will allways be
I no a lot of people will say bad about the pr mad webmasters but it is what makes the money from links as 80 % of the newish webmasters will want to buy from a high pr
