Buy and Sell Advertising Space

I am buying run-of-site text links for a gambling website.

1. Run-of-site means that the link will appear on every page of the website, not the home page.

2. To say it again, I am looking for static text links, not fed through ad server. How can you tell? If you visit your website, click on View>Source on your browser, and look through the HTML of the page - the URL should appear there, and not a script or ad-server hyperlink.

3. Your home page should have PR5 or higher, and no robots.txt file.

4. Your website has to have over 1,000 ages indexed by google.

I will run static HTML text ads if you wish on www.PimpMyCase.com (does not have 500 pages) and www.GetTipsy.com (has over 1,000 pages)

but both sites are PR5... and apperantly you can get that for free... so maybe you want to share with us what your budget is and exactly what you are looking to advertise on - since google page rank is mearly a number and not entirely relivant in all cases to how much traffic any given site does

Actually, I already advertise on www.GetTipsy.com, and since you said that - could you please, make our link static? Because right now it's fed through an ad-server, and you are saying that it should be static - so I expect you to make it static. If you do not remember me, PM me for the details.
I would love to advertise on PimpMyCase, but you only accept PayPal, and I am currently unable to proccess money through PayPal - If you have any other payment method - I am on it!

I said I dont want to by PR5, and this was because of offer I got to by PR5 link ONLY on the home page. I will buy link on PR5 website, but it has to be SITE-WIDE.

Are you looking for links for there PR or traffic? I might be willing to place a link of yours on my site (PR6), but I wouldn't be able to do a full ROS. As I have over 5,000 pages indexed by Google and most of them being pages fed off of a template. I would though be able to place it on the 46 static pages that I have. PM if interested.

Can you put it in the template? Many websites are doing this, and it works perfect.
I am really interested on text links ROS.

I would like to ask this same question. I was told it would be getting a static link on gettipsy also, I do advertise there. I think I've on that site for a month or two. The link doesn't show (as a link or "contians the term") when I google my site. Anyone can check it out for themselves here.

The ad was cheap so I'm not losing any sleep over it...shame on me for not doing my homework before buying.

Yup, I feel the same way. After I bought the link and checked it I was like "****"...

But you know that now I check every link in dept.
By the way, the gettipsy.com dude told me that he will fix my link, but still nothing was done about it.
I dont have anything against the guy though, it's totally my fault not paying attention before paying money

I don't hold anything personal against the guy either...as a matter of fact I hope he'll just post here saying he's taken care of the problem....and actually mean it.

I do have a problem with his misleading advertising. It could be considered outright bull**** in some circles. That's why I decided to post about my "issue". I think it's fair that others see what they will be buying before they send any money.

For the record, you'll get a dynamic link that will never really "count" as a link in the eye's of the SE's. As far as traffic goes, I've never received 1 one single visitor from the link. The only person to click on it has been me.

So what's the deal Mike Panic?

altrus - sorry for the delay... your link will be made static tonight... ive had a hellish week and weekend

as for the other comments - ive been selling ad space on several sites for several years. when the term static is used, its used in a way in which it means that your link is not in rotation (dynamic) with other links. this is how i was introduced into online marketing/advertising and how ive bought/sold ad space over the last few years

on www.GetTipsy.com - the ads are run through phpadsnew which is a piece of software that not only generates reports on impressions and click thru's, but also offers the ability to set up experiation dates of ad spots - when you run as many sites as i do, automation helps out a lot

for anyone else who has bought ad space on my site who does NOT want the links run through phpadsnew, please send me a PM w/ your paypal email address, the site in which your ads appear, the text link to your ad and the URL to your ad and i will gladly change it

all that said - don't expect to see link backs in google right away - it can take 4-12 weeks for that data to cache in googles engines
