Buy and Sell Advertising Space

Hey guys,

I am running a webmaster forum for more than 6 months now! And I wanted to monetize the forum by now! I guess it is the right time to do with an alexa of 87k and 30k pageviews monthly!

But there is a problem. I tried to get advertisers, but it looks like no one is interested in sitewide banners on the top ( ? )

What am I doing wrong? Or is it still too early to monetize this forum?

Members: 679
Threads: 1,777
Posts: 13,577

The threads - posts amount does prove the forum is active and that people are replying to the threads that are made!! Why is no one interested in buying advertising??

Does anyone has tips or tactics to get advertisers in?? How are you getting advertisers in?

Forums generally requires a lot more members to attract direct advertisers, for the moment, perhaps you can try to get adsense or some CPM banner ad network

Also, you might want to consider getting VBSEO for your vb forum (like the one install in this forum), it can help you create search engine friendly web pages and might help you to get some fresh traffic from the search engines.
