I am the webmaster of an online game which has so far attracted about 50,000 members. We get unique visits from 25,000 people per month from all around the globe. We normally have about 45 people on at one time, but this sometimes goes as high as 75.
I am selling text links on the front page (increases PR), and the affiliate page (doesnt increase PR). I would recommend going for the affiliate page as all members visit this daily, and are likely to click on your links. These are going for $5 each per month, which is pretty cheap considering how big the site is.
We also offer incentive clicking to your site. This means pretty much every member who logs in will visit your site once a day, as the members will recieve benefits in the game from clicking on your links. This generates a lot of traffic, and these links have a price of $10 per month.
