I suggest not using alexa rank as a term for what ad's you accept because it can be easily cheated.

Thanks for the suggestion. The Alexa ranking system is always under a lot of scrutiny and debate. Especially today with the increase in popularity of Firefox and Alexa not having a toolbar for it, it's even harder to guage a website's traffic.
The lower the number the harder it is to cheat especially over a long period of time, lets say 12 months. It's not hard to get the alexa ranking to 100 000, but it does get harder the closer you get to 1 because of the sheer volume of people visiting sites like Yahoo which is ranked #1.
The sites that we want to advertise on are webmaster related sites. The fact that webmasters make up the largest group percentage wise using the Alexa toolbar and comparing Alexa ranking with our own statistics and experience gives us a clearer picture of the traffic for the site. The Alexa ranking will help us in judging the price for the advertising and the possible exposure to traffic.
