Hello.

We possess a UK / International dating site called www.tottyfinder.com, which has only be running a month and are looking for ways to inject decent exposure of the site across UK networks.

We are currently on a few smaller affiliate programmes, but are considering perhaps banner ads (low click through I know)

Typical conversions are 1 in to vistors sign up a free account, and 1 in 10 free accounts sign up to a paid account. i.e., a sale is acheived for every 1 in 100 visitors.

Pay-Per-Click is simply too high, being monopolised by the big players in our opinion.

We would discuss any opportunities, such as buying lists, databases etc, or any other suggestions you might have.

I missed uour post for some reason. Whats the gender split of your site like? I get the impression its going to be mostly male, and to be honest we are finding a female recruitment drive is needed.

Yes, it is mostly male visitors, but theres so many people coming each day that theres got to be at least 1,000 females daily.

We will be launching NotSoUnknown.co.uk in a week or so. It is an MP3 download site for unsigned bands. As such our main target group is 16-25 years olds, they are also predominantly males although we are seeing more females around the message boards and so on (we now have several femal only bands). The site is UK based and our advertising campaigns are to be aimed at mainly the UK market. We are currently looking for people to advertise on the site from the launch date. To begin with we are not expecting a huge amount of traffic but this will grow exponentially as we sign new bands. We will be offering space for very cheap rates to begin with and are also open to 'blags' for free space in return for linking to our site or displaying one of our banners. The budget isnt really an issue, provided it converts to signups or is very targeted.
