Site URL: www.student-forums.co.uk

Site Topic: A collection of forums for students to discuss both educational as well as social topics in a safe and friendly environment.

Stats: http://www.studentforums.hostultra.com/stats.gif

I want to put a banner on the top of the page and charge the banner owner on a monthly basis - I am unsure on what to charge so I will leave it to the members here to decide on a reasonable charge.

The site is aimed at students between the ages of 7 and 23!

Hi,

I am interested in advertising on your site, i can pay $2 a month, i will host your banner on my site for free, let me know if this sounds good to you. I have a poetry site, you can take a look at it, most of my site visitors are teens and few are in their early 20s... let me know if your are interested. Payment will be made through stormpay or e-gold.

One more thing, i dont think according to google terms you are allowed to put 2 of its text banners on the same page... i might even be wrong so plz check...

$2 sounds good to me - umm how do you want to pay?

I am in the UK so I have never heard of those companies you mentioned.

I will look into the google thing - thanks!

well those payment processors are known worldwide, though stormpay is relatively new...

i dont know if its allowed to post the url, i guess the moderators would make an exception

Stormpay
E-Gold

If you don't understand how these 2 services work, let me know how do you want the payment....

Also I just realised that the exchange rates aren't too good at the moment so I get under £1 every month - is there any chance I can raise it to $3?

hey I am interested in having the ad space on your site,I own a UK based site. I will pay £1 per month plus i will set up a referer link from your site, therefore if someone comes from your site, then signs up with my site I will pay 0.50p into your prizetickets account. My site is not yet online, but will be launching on sunday, on my site you can use your money to enter draws to win some of the latest prizes on the market.

e.g. enter a £5 to win the latest £400 mobile phone.

Dont worry my site 100% legal.

If you would prefer I am willing to up my payment to £1.50 per month if you do not want referal scheme.

Jamie.

Just some (slightly unrelated) info for you student-forums... You might want to be careful with getting cheques in dollars paid to you. I find that my bank charges me £6.25 or 0.25% (whichever is greater), which really cuts into your earnings!

£6 would be $10.56, and my bank will not charge anything for anything below $50!
