when you say hits you don't mean visitors ? right ?

one visitor could make from 1 to as many hits as there are objects (pictures, css, scripts, videos etc) on each webpage that he/she is viewing

I have a rank 7 site http://www.kiwisgraphics.com and only started selling Google Style text advertising in top spots yesterday. THESE ARE SITE WIDE ADS, 4 have already sold.

As mentioned these adverts are much the same style as Google Text Adverts and will run SITE WIDE throughout Kiwis Graphics. I have 3 areas where the Adverts will run. 4 of the top spots have already been purchased and the adverts have only been available for 2 days, but still have 3 top spots remaining.

My site gets 5000 visitors a day with a click through rate of approx 3.5%. Remember the Advert will appear on ALL PAGES not just the main page.

Rates are per month (extremely inexpensive for a Rank 7 site!):

$40.00 top spots (SITE WIDE)
$37.00 left side of page (SITE WIDE)

oh yes, I mean visitors. or unique hits.
displaypictures.org get up to 2000 hits a day

but more like 250 visitors a day.
(According to analytics, server stats, and google adsense)
