Hello Everyone - I'm writing this as an opportunity for 6 people to have a prime spot on my blog. This blog is a respected blog in the writing-related
community - especially targetted to novice writers. Updates have been currently paused, and will likely resume in the near future.
Here are some facts about this particular blog:
1) Receives anywhere from 600-1000 unique visitors a day, with up to approximately 1200 pageviews a day. Stats have grown ever since it has been established (over a year ago). I expect even more growth as the blog becomes more "mature". Weekdays are the strongest, while traffic does drop during the weekends normally. Also, whenever schools are out, or on break, traffic drops a little, as the site is used mainly for research.
2) All traffic is 100% legitimate, and comes mostly from search engines. The ratio is roughly: 85% Google, 5% Yahoo, 5% MSN, and 5% Other SEs and links.
3) I have top rankings in a LOT of main keywords in the writing field. For example: "examples of metaphor", "metaphor examples", "third person point of view", "what is foreshadowing", etc. There are plenty more that contribute to its traffic.
4) It has a ton of backlinks from very respectable sources (i.e., popular blogs, other authoritative writing sites, author sites, etc).
5) All content is unique. A lot of posts come from research as well - all sources are attributed properly in appropriate posts.
6) Only monetized a bit, so not too much competition for clicks. Additionally, some ads will likely be taken down during linking campaigns.
7) Main page is PR5 (saw some PR6's a week or so ago in some datacenters...not sure if it'll change anytime soon though). Rest of the pages are anywhere from PR3 to PR4).
Where will the links be placed? Links will be placed on the top left navigation bar (where a square banner currently is). You'll have a prime spot for visitors to see. This will be site wide, meaning your links will be across 200+ pages of content!
Deals can be worked out for special placement, if necessary.
What kind of links can be used? Text links only, with up to 6 words or so (case by case basis, in order to make links look nice).
How much will it cost? Here's the breakdown:
Month by Month = $30 per month
3 Months Advanced = $80 total (save $10.00)
6 Months Advanced = $145 total (save $35.00)
12 Months Advanced = $275 total (save $85.00)
Permanent links can be discussed per situation, as well as other advertising opportunities.
