Mummybrain is an online community based around message boards, with other activities also provided (such as a chat room, blogs and a games arcade). It is run by parents for parents, although parents-to-be and others with an interest in children are also welcome.
Most of our members are female although we do have some males on our membership list as well. Some of our forums are restricted to female-access only, this allows women to feel more comfortable when talking about some of their more personal issues. Our message forums are very active, with message posts averaging approximately 900 per day. They cover a broad range of topics - from parenting-specific issues to leisure activities, product reviews, current affairs, and whatever else catches the interest of our members at any given time.
Mummybrain was founded in August 2005 and membership has grown steadily since then. Current monthly statistics give a hits figure of 1,700,000 and unique visitors of 8,000. Visitors to the forum who do not yet have an account can still view several of our main forums. As we limit the advertising on our site, the ads we do have tend to stand out and catch the attention of our users.
We have a maximum of five banners in rotation at any one time at the top of the webpage, and a maximum of five in rotation at the bottom of the screen. Size is standard banner size of 468x60 pixels. You can choose to show it to all visitors to the site or specify countries that you would like it shown to (eg: just NZ, or just US etc). A banner showing to all visitors for a one month period has approximately 90,000 views.
Price is $1 per 10,000 views for a banner at the top of the Mummybrain screen, or $0.50 per 10,000 views for a banner at the bottom of the screen.
