Buy and Sell Advertising Space

Hi, I have 6 websites, all different niches, each with pagerank of 3 and 4, on all internal pages as well. I believe these page ranks will go up at the next update. I keep receiving emails asking if I sell text links. Is this a good thing for my site or can it have any negative effects? How much should I charge, what is the standard rate? Thanks

Selling links is fine, but anyone can get PR3 without trying.

Sitewide links from PR4 sites maybe worth a between $2 and $5 per month depending on how many pages are in the site. with thousands of indexed pages, maybe $10 would be a good deal.

It's important to note, though, that search engines recommend you use rel=nofollow for bought or otherwise naturally unendorsed links. buying and selling links with PR attached can get you penalised by search engines.

If you need the money, sell the links. Search engines threaten more than they actually penalize, IMHO.

Just wanted to let you know that you sell links at this ad marketplace. There is no commission or fee taken.
It's an auction site and all you have to do is post your offers for ad space and the advertisers will bid for the spots.
