Hi, on my website I list new content daily, however when people come in to see the new content, they see the same as last time

so my question is-

How can I make my site automatically update for each time someone enters my site?

I know it's the cookies that are doing it, but how do I stop them, or make them only last 24 hours (not sure if that can be done)

The trouble you're having is that the browser is caching the content.

You can use a meta tag to prevent this on individual pages, or you can set up your web server to do it globally.

<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">

I found this looking around Google: Preventing Browser Cache. Finally, So You Don't Want to Cache talks about IE 5 not respecting the meta tag approach.

Consider using a session instead of a cookie. If you must use a cookie set the expiration.
