Okay so lets say I have a webpage with clickable trash cans next to comments such as youtube. I want something to delete comments from certain people and also just delete comments with links in them. Like a spam bot maybe.

Isn't this type of stuff like a spam bot where it can click on stuff on a page? Even make new topics? I am trying to help a website out.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In what language? You can do something like that pretty easily in .net, but how will you distinguish human clicks from spambot ones?

A bot implies it will run across the net; you might have better results working server side?

I was looking for something a "end user" or a user could run from their end. Like when a admin is logged in they have the trash can symbol next to their posts. Now a user does not. If this was simple I might could work with the sites admins to put this in place.

What I want this to do is this:

Auto delete comments from a userbase of blocked people, Like the people they do not want to post comments in their topics get the delete.

Delete comments with a url in them.

Something like that. A simple to use program that can do this would be great.

Can it be ran by a individual on their profile. This is for a spam prevention.
Members of a site like youtube are getting ate up with spam along with youtube. A program a user could run or a bot that would do it for them(what we want) would be what we are looking for.

Update, this does not need to disable links just ban users or remove the users comments.

If this is a site where you can write and run server side code, it is simply a matter of writing a software agent that looks in the database for hidden post attributes to a given entry then deletes it.

If you are on a site that you don't control (blogger, youtube etc) you probably can't. You only have the tools that the script host provides.

There is no way for it to just run on a list of pages from a database. Like it would only mod your pages/your blog?
