Write the entire site for you then

and the server side code and database would be?

AJAX is purely a means to access the server side functions and return the data to the client. It is the server code that does the work. THAT has to come first.

BTW. You could actually take ANY catalogue script and write an AJAX wrapper for it

Best to remember that AJAX is essentially (well it is) JavaScript, and can't do anything more than JavaScript can (because it is JavaScript) if you get what I mean...

Let me put it to you this way, kkk: if you're asking this type of question, you're not ready for the site that you're building. There are many issues associated with e-commerce sites, as they're nothing more than online businesses (contrary to what seems to be published opinion these days), and you're going to have to be prepared to deal with a myriad of problems.

I'd suggest building a few database-driven, non-e-commerce sites first, and then taking on the beast you're suggesting.

By the way...you do know that KKK stands for something pretty evil, right?
