Hello all, and a merry christmas to you all...

ğ I'm looking for a way users can add their own 'tutorials' to my website in the same way and design layout I create the tutorials but without them needing any HTML experience or web design knowledge.

I want them to simply fill in a form of some sort and when they click submit, it will be displayed as I require it to look.
A bit like when you create an auction on ebay, you upload a few images, give it a description, hit SAVE and ebay turns it into a nice looking webpage as such.

An Example Of How Form Would look:

Then When You Submit It Would Convert It To HTML Like This:

My question is how would I go about finding a script or form that can do this kind of thing... Or would I be better using another kind of language to do this?

Thanks...

MX

This is very basic PHP, or indeed any other server side language. Just submit the form, save the details in a database, upload the relavent images and hey presto.

Things you should look up:
1. Dealing with Databases in your Server Side Language
2. Creating Dynamic Pages with a Database
3. Uploading, Checking and Storing Files in your Server Side Language
4. Sessions and how to use them
5. Authentication Techniques.

Once you have a firm grip on those it is a very simple case of putting it all together.

Jamie

Thanks for the reply... Do you have any suggestions on scripts that are ready made that can do this for me without all the learning?

Thanks...

Most blog scripts would be capable of this.

Each tutorial could be a category, each step would be a post in that category.
Most blog scripts have the capability to be multi user, and you can change the the post input template to suit what you need.
