php/html/sql/javascript

i did java at uni a while ago but ive never integrated any applets or whatever into my websites - dont think i will either

php is very similar to java and C and that does pretty much everything you need to do

Yup, I'm fairly fond of PHP with *SQL backends. Java's a good solution at times too, but it takes up more processor power on the server. It's more big business type of development..

to be honest im not too clued up in how java integrates with web sites

i mean - ive done applets and widgets etc at uni for web forms etc but i never advanced beyond that

I don't really use Java for applet programs. One of its major uses is server-side programming, very similar to PHP.

I mainly use PHP/MySQL for website stuff (sometimes a little javascript).

I Use Cold Fusion, ASP, ASP.NET, DHTML, JavaScript. For Database Use MS SQL or Access. I used CGIs/C++ a couple of times.
