Hello -

I am doing a site for my Aunt. She has a business booking performers for events. Each performer will have his own biography w/headshot, and maybe some audio/video.

I want an easy way to add/edit/categorize bios and a way for users to search them.

There will only be around 20 bios at first, but I need it flexible enough to do many times that.

Anyone have any recommendations on a script to use?

Well, the best way would to code your own I don't think that many people need a biography organizer, so your chances of a pre-made script are very small... But do a search on hotscripts.com and mabe you'll get luck.

You could always use some sort of CMS like phpNuke or PostNuke and just change it to fit your needs...

Well, I downloaded and tried phpNuke, but its just too much, even after axing most of the blocks and modules. Plus it has a 'cold sterile' feel to it. PostNuke looks similar.

Anyone have any other ideas? I want something that will work with an existing design. I don't want to have to learn how to code PERL.

Without learning Perl, ASP/Access or PHP/MySQL, you probably will have trouble finding and/or editing an exisiting script to do what you want. Perhaps you should hire someone to create the script for you (I can do PHP/MySQL *hint* )
