alright, i need to add a link on www.asundaydriver.com that will access a PDF file. this is just for other stores, not for individuals, so i need to make it require a password.

how can i program this? i have HTML knowledge, but have never done ANYthing with passwords. any help would be great.

also, only a password would be ideal, but if a username and password is required, that's fine too.

Put the file in its own directory and password protect that directory. If you have a control panel check to see if it has password protect directory.

You could also use a server side programming language to protect it.

You could do it using .htaccess ...
