okay, i'm trying to do another little buttons not images thingy again. many of you will remember me from my previous attempts, which are almost complete (cheers and uplifted faces after all the times they've had to solve his scripting problems).

just one more problem, then hopefully its all over (more cheers, celebrations, party poppers and...christmas crackers).

this...is wrong...somewhere, i've been looking at it all morning, and i can't see where, i've moved pieces around all over the place.

the script is fine, until the text change colour. for some reason, the background changes + restores, the images change + restore, but the text colour does not change, and if it doesn't change, i can't tell if it restores or not.

anyone with any ideas, much appreciated...here is the coding :

<table width="197" border="0" height="33" onClick="MM_goToURL('parent.frames[\'content\']','../help/help.html');return document.MM_returnValue" style="cursor:hand; color:red" bgcolor="#FFFFCC" onMouseOver="this.style.backgroundColor='#CC9900'; this.style.color='#FFFF00';MM_swapImage('light','' ,'../../menu/light2.gif',1)" onMouseOut="this.style.backgroundColor='#FFFFCC';M M_swapImgRestore();this.style.color='red'">

any help is, as always, greatly appreciated. thankx for taking time to help me...once more!!

cease your mad panic and rush to help with this one

solved it blimmin coding errors. the font was set to red, which stopped it from working. had to set the font to red next to the cursor part, so it should have had no <font color="#FF0000"> etc etc. all sorted now
