I'm sure a few of you have used Komodo Edit before, but I just stumbled across it and thought I would share it for those of you who haven't seen or heard of it before.

Basically, it's a free code editor with some interesting features. You can create and manage projects, create code snippets and assign them to macros, and a few other goodies. If you're using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, Tcl, RHTML, Template-Toolkit, HTML-Smarty or Django you might want to check it out.

You can get it here.

It is a very nice editor. I've used it before when I was dabbling in coding.

Interesting. I never heard of it. I have my favorites though. For text files I always use Notepad++. For coding java I like NetBeans (netbeans.org) for everything else, I like ultraedit even though it's not quite free ($30)
