Just what the web needs, right? Another damned forum. LOL.
Well, considering SPARQL is a brand new technology, and I own sparql.com, I figured it was the ideal thing to do, since in the nascent stages of its development, developers will probably want a place where they can discuss it. So without further ado:
SPARQL and RDF Discussion Forums - Powered by vBulletin
In case you didn't know, SPARQL is the newly adopted W3C specification (now a W3C recommendation) of a query language for RDF (the Resource Description Framework). Basically, RDF is a computer-readable version of the resource (link) data on your website, and SPARQL allows applications to query RDF-enhanced websites as if they were databases.
This is really powerful stuff, and people say these will be the driving technologies behind "Web 3.0" (if you believe in such a thing).
This will be the first forum for developers to discuss these new relatively specifications and find ways to proliferate the technology. I encourage anyone who's interested in SPARQL to register and help me seed the content!
