Im getting paid like $500 dollars to make somone a hunting website. What he wants is a Calendar Something liek this:

He wants a Calendar (u know what that is) ut he wants Each day split Across the middle so it has a top half and Bottom half (morning, night)
Than he wants a few Coloumns on each half day for an animal, so say they are going to hunt deer, pheasant, and geese on sept. 7, I need september 7 on a calendar, split in half with 3 coloumns, 1 for each animal.
Under each animal i need the # of available spots left for that hunt.

Example:

Pretend this is a Calendar day and the Coloumns are Vertical:

Morning- Deer (7) Pheasant (4) Geese (9)

Evening Deer (5) Pheasant (8) Geese (1)

THE NUMBER REPRESENTS THE OPEN HUNTING SPOTS FOR THAT HUNT

Than he wants it if you click on the animal name(like deer) a form comes up.

Heres the Tricky part...

When they fill out the form to go hunting for That specific animal, they have taken a hunt spot right? well, after they have registered a hunt spot, There is 1 less spot... Instead of GOing into the admin pannel and changing the # of spots open, It must Dynamicly Change so As Soon as Somone Clicks Submit on the Form, 7 would go down to 6...

Can anyone help me?

A script or an example or a site would be nice.

Alex, that's a pretty big job that you might find tough to solve with a pre-made script. Have you tried starting with a single day and expanding from there? I would suggest you mark-up a single day and the structures you laid on for each. What is your data source? MySQL? Have you designed your database and pull routines yet?

Well see, i would Love to do it that way but the problem is, im only 12 And i Will Start with a 1 day thing and Expand if you could help me with the scripting... All i know is HTML, DHTML, a lil XML and ASP... I can get a host for anything because the guy will buy one... I can make the calendar... Basicly all i need is a Script either premade or If maybe somone could brush one up for me here...
In the calendar when you click the animla you want to hunt You get a join form... These are the join form features i need:
  • A Form that i can Change the Fields/Radio buttons etc Without Messing up the script...
  • It must Be linked with the calendar For uses ill explain soon
  • When they click Submit they get a Confirmation email (optional)
  • After confirming (or filling out the form) The Number of Spaces left under the animal go down 1

So basicly it has to be dynamicly linked with the calendar So if under "deer" it says 7 spots left When somone fills out the form, when they click submit 7 changes to 6... Than when it reaches 0 They cant fill out the form anymore for that animal...

Can you please help me?
