Hi everyone, Can someone explain what the difference between a coded and non-coded template is and what does it mean for someone who is new to the working with one as far as entering info,pics, video and changing content?

I would like to control what is going on with my website but know nothing about it lol what would be the best route for me?

I'm not very familiar with the terms but if I have to guess I would say non-coded (you know nothing about programming right?).

What I would suggest for your site is maybe a pre-made blog (blogger) or forum (phpBB)?

A non coded template is simply the design. A coded template is coded and usually has the css too. It depends on the designer. Also, depends if you are getting a template for a CMS, a basic XHTML/CSS layout. If you are looking to get a template created make sure you talk to the designer you select and be clear up front what you desire and what you expect. A non coded template is usually cheaper then a coded one.
