I want to create an athabetical list from a to z going horizontaly across the page like, this would stay on the page at all times:
A B C D ....Y Z

when someone clicks on a letter such as "a" it bings up a jargon buster for words begining with a, if the person then clicks "b", the page will display all words begining with b to replace the "a" list and so on.

I have searched the net and cant find anything specific enough.

I was wondering if anyone can suggest a site that would show a tutorial for doing it (rather than trawling through books when I am not 100% sure of how to do it or what I would need)

I want to replace this page so its easier to read and navigate for the user.
I dont want to use frames.

You just need a simple show/hide tabs script.

I have just googled what you suggested and theres a fair bit of info I can read up on.

If you have written a script, would it be possible for me to download it and modify it (is it on your site, I had a look at the JS code snippets secion and couldn't see it!)

If not thats ok, at least I now know what its called which is more than I knew before you replied to the post
