There is a Flash MP3 Player developed by FlashNifties that might just what you are looking for:

It uses XML for the configuration, so its quite easy to uses.

Just a side note: I think when it comes to this kind of addition to any website, the 'sexier' it is looking, the more people will want to 'check it out' just something that seems to be with todays kids...
