how can I open an .SWF file ?

file is index.swf and it is not a clip/movie file

it is an application file

index.html value is index.swf and I want to make changes on it

Do you mean that it isnt a Clip/Movie in the sense of the FLash library? Im not sure if you can import other SWFs into other movies.

Alternatively, it is "not possible" (i say it in quotes because you can reverse engineer them but last time i tried, a while ago admitedly, it was difficult and not very good) to open .swf files and edit them as you would a .FLA file.

Maybe a little clarification woul help us answer?

I think chrishirst got it , so it looks that I need decompiler to been able to open that file
