VB8 doesn't really exist as a separate entity, it's part of the .NET studio. The somewhat limited "express" version is there to persuade you to buy the full version.
VB6 was the last REAL version of Visual Basic, so you won't find anything specific to VB8. It will be VB.NET code you are looking for.
