Hello everyone. I'm an amateur designer/coder one of those jack of all trades. I'm just inquiring, any suggestions when you want to be a do it all coder. Wow there's just so much code out there. How do some of you handle it? Any good philo out there on how to digest it and prioritize? The code I'm referring to is web client/server sides. No C , thanks!

Just learn the fundamentals of how to program, then learn a language (PHP/JavaScript) and make a few websites.

Or you can learn a very complicated and "picky" programming language (C++, ect..) which forces you to really understand the programming/syntax/conversions/ect..., and from there any new language or remembrance of languages will be easier.

Learning a language is actually pretty trivial. What you want to learn is the concepts. Once you understand that picking up a new language is not too difficult. C++ syntax is similar to PHP which is similar to java, the real difficulties come in understanding the underlying differences in those languages.
