I'm curious how to do one of those download pages. Something similar to fileplanet.
They don't give you the normal download prompt. But you go to a webpage with a progress bar download speed etc. So they basicly have the whole download together with some ads in one page.

I hope you know what i'm talking about, cause my explanation probably isn't very clear.
Anyhows how do they make such a download thing. And are there any premade available on the web?

I do know that fileplanet is using some sort of java applet.

yea, the only problem is that particular java applet they are using was made by them and i dont think you'll find a script that does exactly that. you'll have to search for about 10-20 individual javascripts and pug them all together.(i think**)

personally i think this is a waste of time.

well it doesn't have to do Exactly that.
