I have never had the need to look into any secure hosting with SSL or the need to secure a form, I am building a site that wants to take credit cards via the form. I don't need to process the cards just store them for use later. I'm basilly at a stand still, not sure where to turn first.

Almost anyhost should be able to provide SSL capabilities. You'll just need to get your certificate. If you're unfamiliar with the process, your host should be able to help.

Please say you are going to encrypt the credit card numbers in the database. Please say, the database will be fire-walled so only the web server can access it. And say, the web server will not be able to retrieve credit card numbers, only put them in.
