Can someone tell me how to save the values ( and just the values ) of the items in ' drop down ' box to a text file? I want to do this from a site that is already published online. I know I can do it by hand, but there's just too many to do. Something in the lines of a 'webfetching' type tool.

Thank you.

That would be doing it the manual way. I want to get each item on the drop down list as it is in the list, but in a text file, or even to the clipboard so i can paste it into a text file. Not the whole page.

The only way would be to write a purpose script/tool which would take a LOT more work than simply doing a "save as" then using a text editor and a couple of regular expression find/replaces to pull out the value attribute from the <li>s
