Having said that any kind of certificate likely looks good on a resume, especially if you have a lack of experience to talk to. It can't hurt to have the certificate, but you probably don't need it.

I'm in a really weird/tough spot as I don't have any experience because I decided to switch careers, I have no portfolio and I'm putting my educational pursuance towards this new career on hold due to my wife getting the amazing chance to study at Oxford. So I'm here (in Oxford) trying to teach myself from books and what's available on the web all without direction. So I guess I just answered my own question and should probably look into the certificates, haha.

Thanks Steve! I think I will pursue this certificate. It might be a very small step forward but it is still a step.
