I am looking for a tutorial or a template download on how to make a horizontally scrolling slideshow. I am looking for something that will be clean without any of the "next" image buttons. Basically it would load a bunch of images and scroll horizontally back and forth simply by moving your mouse and not having to click on anything. I would also like it so that when I stop and click on an image it would blow it up to a larger size and then go back to the scroller when I click it again.

I have been souring the web for a couple hours now and cannot find a good tutorial or template on how to do this. I guess I am not sure how it is done though it seems like it would be flash based but maybe I am wrong.

Any suggestions on where to look?

It would be something similar to this but when you click the actual picture it blows up large to view:

Lightbox is a great solution but that is not what I am looking for. I appreciate the response though. I want something that will scroll without actually have to click the mouse. So, when you move the mouse right it scrolls right and when you move it left it scrolls left. Then, you can click on an image and it will enlarge it.

I was actually searching google for "scrolling slideshow" and found this thread and your post. This looks like something I've been looking for on a project that is long overdue.

I also recently found this as well. It is not free but is a very affordable solution to a horizontally scrolling slideshow using flash and xml. Looks like t can be customized without the knowledge of flash which is huge.
