I run an online library at www.sacred-magick.com and would like to get people to register to access download pages to pdf I have so I can track downloads better than stats. I have little to no HTML knowledge (no PHP knowledge) and totally clueless on how to do this. My server has cPanel Fantastico and I tried to find solution with some CMS there but to no success yet. Anyone will be able to help or point the direction please?

To let people who are only logged in access downloads, you'll need to tackle SOME form of server-side scripting language. The best option is too take PHP, and in the long run it will be better for you to learn PHP by hand coding.

Not sure if I want to learn PHP though.

I would like to make my visitor register to download, AND for me to keep track who's downloading which files, and stats for each user and general. Other stuff too like mass mail/mailing lists, suspend etc...

There's some free and paid script on hotsript, and I don't really want to mess with it.
