Hey, I am just about to graduate from college as a graphic designer and I am realizing that I should probably either get a lot more web programming under my belt or take on some marketing... Does anyone know of any good places/ways to get quick but thorough courses in php, flash, java/javascript, and mylsq?

If you're going to be doing programming.. you can learn php+mysql right now, but I hear the groundbreaking webapp technologies are being built with adobe flex, microsoft silverlight, and of course ruby.. on rails.

Nope!

C came before C++ and C++ is a enhanced and extended version of C, hence the name!

You DO NOT need to learn C or C++ before learning PHP or any other languages.

I think the above poster is confusing the fact that PHP has a C/C++ syntax for the function structures with a need to know C.

If you want to learn any of the stuff you mentioned just Google for tutorials and you will find hundreds of tutorials, or just go buy a book that teaches you what you want to know both options will help you.

I suggest PHP, its a fun language you can actually enjoy writing and making cool things.

I would also recommend C++, very marketable skill.
