I was wondering what you guys think the best books are to learn ruby on rails?

I was suggested these by another forum, but what do you guys think?

- The Ruby Programming Language by David Flanagan & Yukihiro Matsumoto
- The WeRubyist by David A. Black
- Simply Rails 2 by Patrick Lenz
- Agile Web Development with Rails by Sam Ruby

On the contrary! There are plenty of replies to topics or subjects that are popular, this simply goes to show that, despite the hype, Ruby on Rails is NOT that popular and is NOT going to be the "next big thing".

Java for dummies that's a great book.. Once you read it, you won't even have to worry about Ruby haha jk... I'm not much of a fanboy of Rails.. What's your application?
