Hi,
I'm new here, so please forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask a forum question.
I run a website with an IBForum on there. Someone installed it for me, as I don't have a lot of experience with forums, etc. I don't understand the codes and the way it works. The forum's been having some problems lately; 'small' things really, but today the forum collapsed and it says there's a problem with the database:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /usr/home/jonwilk/public_html/forums/sources/Drivers/mySQL.php on line 61
Warning: mysql_select_db(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /usr/home/jonwilk/public_html/forums/sources/Drivers/mySQL.php on line 64
ERROR: Cannot find database jonwilk_forum
Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /usr/home/jonwilk/public_html/forums/sources/Drivers/mySQL.php on line 87
As I don't have a clue about the codes, etc. I don't have any idea to solve this problem and was hoping (cheekily) someone could explain to me step-by-step how I can get the forum back. I'm a bit desperate as the person who normally helps me is off until at least January. I know I'm asking much, but I really don't know what to do!!
Thanks, Karin.
