Hey all...

I'm running symphony-cms on a shared host.
I'm having permissions troubles among other stuff.

I've been told, amongst some SSH and stuff, I may have to enable FastCGI
Specifically for .xsl and .php files. Opposed to Apache Safe Mode..

How do I do this?

I have read it needs to go in the htaccess file... But My file is locked and wont let me modify it (the htaccess and config.php are handled by the cms using extensions). So a PHP script would allow me make changes.

More specifically.. How would I do that?

Cheers guys
