I just took over a job (spiritgrowth dot com) and I had a quick question... I now have to manage all the videos to sell. Right now they're using onstream media and paying like $600/month for live streaming and a storefront (ficam dot tv)

The way i'm making it now is i just uploaded all the videos (hundreds of them) to payloadz, $50/month for 50gb. With payloadz I can just grab the snippet of code that takes the person to paypal checkout with the video.

So ultimately what I want to do is be able to archive the videos on the website somehow and be able to easily manage/upload new videos, there are about 5 new videos a week that I have to put up for sale.

Any ideas and solutions would be great appreciated... thanks

Why not just run a dedicated Windows box and turn on media services?

It's simple enough to create an interface that reads the files and folders.

All of the above. I'm not looking to build a database for the videos or anything, i'm looking for a quick and easy solution.

But I guess what i'll end up doing is making a separate page and manually add the videos with the titles/descriptions/paypals button and then just embedding it in the body with php until i change all the pages to php so I don't have to update each page just to fix a navbar link.... which is how it's set up now

What do you think of that? Thanks

Windows Streaming Media.

We have a client who trains and sells racehorses and I wrote some ASP code that reads the files and folders then displays them as links, plus a text file named the same as the video can provide a description and other related text.

They were using OnStreamMedia to do that and have the capabilty of streaming live (ficam dot tv) but I simply don't know how to and the service they provided like i said in my OP was 600/month.

Do you know of any training guides to get started on it? Or even just a cheap service to merge the videos to?
