Hi all,
I feel like I am lost somewhere. Indeed, I have to say after 5 years not putting hands on any coding work, those API references are just like books in foreign language to me.
My idea is that: to quote some finance information, like NASDAQ or foreign currency rate in my website. The source could be Google Finance or Yahoo!
At the beginning, I was thinking that would be toooo easy! Since iPhone and Andriod all have plenty of similar Apps. Acutally, after those searches, I've found out I just need a similar "gadget" on my website which has similar or even lighter function of the iPhone Stock App.
Then I found out the easy-to-create Yahoo! gadget does not support currency quote yet and I must lost in somewhere in Google APIs......
Could someone please tell me is this a un-doable job? Or I am looking at the wrong way. I was thinking if the default iPhone App [Stock] can do it, I should be able to get some useful information.
Please, I need a lead to direct me to proper direction. Do we use Flash or it is just a normal RSS reader?
Thank you VERY much!!
Aldo
