I am creating a snow skiing website and on the site I have a list of ski resorts. I would like to have the weather conditions for that resort show up on my site. Many ski websites already do this, and I need to know what this process of grabing text from another website and displaying it on mine is called and what i need learn to get this on my site. Any help or sugestions would be very helpful.

You'll need scripting language first of all Do you know one? As i know in PHP it could be done with using a sockets. Also you may try to look for an existing script...

You can use every server side language, but PHP is most popular.

You could try the Weather Channel I have used it on a few client's sites and it seems to work rather nice.

Yah, TWC is a good choice, or you can just hop around cgi-resources.com or hotscripts.com
