Not sure if this is posted in the correct forum:

My company had a flash-based website built for them. We now have to maintain it on our own. I know HTML, but have no experience of flash but am ready willing and able to learn....
.. basically, do I need to buy a "flash player" in order to maintain the website (Just the text really) ourselves?

well, a "flash player" is really just used to view the flash.

Are you allowed to edit the flash site using TXT files??

If not then I suggest purchasing Flash MX.

I say flash mx becuase chances are the site was created in MX and any other flash seriese program will not run it.

Yes, if there was not special admin part, you have to use a Flash to manage it...
