Hi everyone. I need help. I have a personal blog hosted by blog.com. When I opened it, it said that my blog contains elements from Partner188.co.cc which appears to host malware. How do I remove it from blog.com? Where can I find this malware?

Thanks!

I imagine most people visiting this site would be a little nervous to visit your site if you have found malware. There are few things I would look for though:

Do you have any advertising on your page? If so, sometimes the third party adverts can link to pages containing malware or share the same server.

Have you/can you check the htaccess file to see if there are redirects to the malware site?

Do you have comments on your blog? Maybe there is a link to a malware site.

Not sure otherwise. I haven't used blog.com before so can't really comment on any possible security holes.

Have you added any third party widgets/gadgets lately? Remove them immediately. If that doesn't help, back out any third party widgets, even ones that used to be trustable.
