Ok java it's self isn't that new to me but networking 2 or more applications of java is. I am in college right now and for the final senior project we are working on we are going to create a small mmorpg. We are going to be using MySql to store info of the chars. I was just woundering what im going to need to be reading up on to connect 2 or more clients to each other and connecting to a MySql database. Also if you got any hints on what would be best for keeping track of people in a zone. So I can draw them if they are close by your char. Thanks for all the help in advance.
