I`m trying to load SQL 3.23.49 on 2k Pro when using cmd promt to setup the root account what is the password i have to put in. Also i can`t find the config.inc file in phpMyadmin but i can find config.inc.php is this it ?

Are you talking about mySQL? I think you just enter username root and no password. As for your second question. Yes. Config.inc is config.inc.php. They just add the php extension because it is needed so that it is parsed (or compiled) by the php engine.
