I'm working on a project for my brother and he wants a website for his church but he wants to be able to update all the content on his own. My problem is I only know how to develop one CMS and that is wordpress..I typically only used wordpress for building blog websites but this one isn't using that format so I'm confused on how to develop this website using wordpress as the CMS

heres what I'm thinking or am trying to do
on that welcome message I used a typical loop except I'm excluding all posts from all other categories using query
below the welcome post and div2 box are 3 divs
heres where I'm a bit confused because the only way I know how to do this might be confusing for my brother. I'm creating posts for each of those divs all in different categories. Inside the index.php I'm using the same loop as before just excluding all posts from everything but the corresponding category..and do exactly the same for the other divs under those...
thats confusing for me thats gotta be confusing for him when he's ready to update his content.
