Hi. I am just wondering if any of you guys would be interesting in coding as part of a team, or more all just helping each other out to code different programs. I have actually started this on my site, but was wondering if anyone is interested. There are currently about 5 of us, some with good java knowledge, some with some great graphics skills. We reckon we need at least 30 or so to make it really good, and then some harder projects could get started.
We would I suppose to open to suggestions of projects, and open to which language it could be in, as long as sufficient number of people could help. A current project that we are looking to create is an application which can (similar to Dreamweaver) replace a certain code with another code, numerous times.
For example Before We got PHP includes going on my site, if we changed one of the boxes down either the left or right hand side columns we would have had to have done it to EVERY page. Now if you had 300 pages thats a lot of work. Now saying for example that all of these 300 pages had the same chunk of code in it, if we could specifiy it not only change 1 but all the files with that code in. Thats basically it for now.
