Hi,

I want to display 3 content layers one behind the other where by when a page tab is selected, the page comes to the front.

I was hoping though that i would not have to send a request to the server each time a tab pressed and maybe theres a better was using javascript , dhtml or such.

Create three <div>.
Give all three the same absolute position and size
Clicking tabs run javascript that change the style.display values of each <div>

hides:
style.display == 'none'

reappears:
style.display == 'block'

If you want a scroll bar add an iframe with in the <div>
