Okay,

I've done something similar to this before, but this one is different

I could really do with some help on this one. my boss set me the task this mornin, and i've tried everything i can think of doing, still no joy!!

I have the whole page working how I want it to, i can customise colours etc. later.

Right now, i need to get the "continue shopping" link to link back two page. I tried javascript:history.back(-2) but it didn't work...just went back to the refer page, even though there was defiantely a page before.

i've also tried using $referrer, as is on the current page. but you'll notice it doesn't use the whole refer url, just the home page for the site. that would be okay, but i'd definately prefer the link to go back to where the customer was before, so they could immediatley continue browsing

the page can be found by clicking through from here

i've also posted up the source code for the file...

righty,

that problem has been solved, but there are others now...

you can see the page at http://www.safariquip.co.uk/test.html

we're trying to make the recommend window pop up. this i can do, and have done. as the bottom link on the page shows. The window pops up successfully at the right size etc.

the problem is, somehow the referrer gets lost along the way. so the page is reporting no referrer. anyone have any ideas as to why? i can post the code for the page up if necessary.

I think the problem has something to do with me using javascript to open the page to a specific size. could i use php for this instead? would this solve the problem?

many thankx
