I am having a little problem with my cgi script. The images won't show up. It just shows the alternative text. when i go straight to the image (....somplanet.com../..image.gif). it says "Internal Server Error". You can see for your self at http://somplanet.com/cgi-bin/netpals/index.cgi

Perhaps the image mime type can not be parsed by Apache within the cgi-bin, however that is just a guess because I do assume that you have double verified that the images are there.

I agree with cptnwinky, Some servers dont allow images to be viewed if they reside inside of the cgi-bin, you need to move the images into a web accessible folder. ( like the root folder) Then change the image folder path in the script. ( should be in the configuration section).

Then im pretty confident that would work.

Excellent news, I will move the image out of the cgi-bin folder. I have two cgi-bin folders.. one of them is called scgi-bin. What is the different between the two.
